A Quick Glance.

  • The P. S. Parishad School provides vocational training to disabled and destitute students in small villages in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
  • Students selected for training must be willing to actively take part in completing their training within a stipulated period.
  • The School for the Blind starts teaching Braille to students in kindergarten to 5th grade.
  • The School for the Deaf and Mute runs from Lower KG to the 5th class.
  • Both schools are managed by the Pawahari Smriti Parishad Managing Committee.
  • Both schools are residential and financially aided by the Government of India.
  • Our school is run in a rented building and has an integrated garden.
  • Education is provided by trained and specialized teachers, men and women.
  • Teachers are paid fixed salaries designated by the government.
  • Students are trained in create products for various trade fairs and tourist centers around the country. It is very successful, and we are now exploring sales in overseas markets. 
  • Experienced professionals who are experts in trade help carry out these fairs. They work 8 hours a day and 6 days a week when the school is in session.
  • Trade experts train 4 batches of 10 students each every day.
  • All profits made from such exhibitions and sales benefit the students and the school.
  • Disabled students learn to care for animals on campus among many other activities.
  • During the summer, classes run from 7am-12:30pm. For the rest of the year, they run from 10am-4pm.
  • Every student is trained in different groups for at least two hours each day.
  • After passing the 5th class, students will apply for integrated education and can choose to further their studies in regular schools with general students.
  • Blind students are advised to attend NIVH Varanasi Poddar Blind School and the Faridabad Blind School for higher studies.
  • 40-70 students are selected each year to join the school based on their disabilities and economic status. The disabled are given priority.
